for the youngest are a creative fun fashion that develops imagination, manual skills and creativity. During the classes, the children will create the project themselves and then sew with the use of various techniques.
The first introductory classes.
We will start with the basics, that is from the needle, the thread and the self-joining of fabrics by various techniques. We'll find out how the material is made. We will make a magical colorful tapestry.
During the following classes, children will begin a fascinating adventure with a sewing machine. They will learn how to properly thread a thread, how to wind a bobbin, how to change a broken needle.
During a series of classes, we sew:
- skirt with elastic band
- hat and scarf
- apron for cooking
(set for mom / dad and daughter)
- blindfold for sleeping
- further goals are set by
the imagination of our young designers
In addition to sewing, we will also decorate ready-made clothes in any technique (for example, old jeans, t-shirt or blouses). We will stick, iron, sew, embroider, paint with felt-tip pens and fabric paints.
However the most important, is that every item made by a child will be designed by them.
The classes will be conducted by Marta Rybicka. A lover of needlework and sewing. A graduate of the Post-Secondary Art School in Warsaw and the Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts. Fashion College.
